There are 90 hands-on exhibits as part of the Great Lakes Environment Floor on topics that range from the Great Lakes “Monsters” to The Sick Earth. The Crushed Car will test your strength in one of the technology exhibits. Don't miss out on touching the indoor tornado or standing on the bridge of fire in the Science Phenomena Floor. See and feel everything you want to know about motion and mechanics, electricity and magnetism, light and optics, resonance and sound, and more. Installed in 2006, the wind turbine shows ways to reduce the world's environmental impact, and the solar array that was introduced in 2007 is popular among visitors of all ages.
