Known to most people in Cleveland, Ohio, as The “Q,” the Quicken Loans Arena is home to the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team, the Lake Erie Monsters hockey team, and the Cleveland Gladiators Arena football team. The arena opened as Gund Arena in 1994 and was originally named for the former owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. In addition to sporting events, the arena hosts a full schedule of concerts and special events throughout the year. The Quicken Loans Arena is 750,000 square feet and can seat 20,562 fans or event attendees. Over 60 percent of the seats at The Q are in the lower bowl of the arena.
